Soft Goods Designer

Exciting opportunity for a Soft Goods Designer to conceptualize and develop new products that improve customer experiences. In this role, you will be involved in all aspects of soft goods design, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to build next-generation product lines.

You will partner with internal teams while aligning with international business units across EMEA, LATAM, and APAC to ensure brand and product architecture guidelines are met.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work alongside product teams, taking direction from the Soft Goods Design Lead.

  • Create and develop original product designs and support updates for existing items.

  • Manage your own workload to consistently meet quality standards and deadlines.

  • Define form, aesthetics, and user-product interfaces utilizing a broad creative skill set.

  • Partner with specialized design disciplines including ID, Color & Trend, Fashion, Usability, and Craftsmanship.

  • Collaborate with global Marketing, R&D, and Supply Chain partners.

DETAILS:

  • Location: Sandy Springs, GA

  • Schedule: 12-Month Contract

REQUIRED:

  • 3+ years of corporate or agency design experience in soft goods or fashion.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Apparel/Fashion Design or a related field.

  • Ability to travel at least quarterly.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Knowledge of flat pattern development, draping, and ergonomic/human factors design.

  • Expertise in fabric/filler selection, production-ready concepts, and design for manufacturing.

  • Hands-on rapid prototyping and sewing skills on industrial equipment.

  • Strong visual communication, sketching, market awareness, and 2D/3D digital design abilities.
